OREANDA-NEWS. August 10, 2012. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has paid about 5 m rubles to Investagropromkomplex LLC , located in Buturlin District of Voronezh Region, in connection with damages sustained from the fire and strong wind.

The property and farm animals of Investagropromkomplex LLC , insured by Ingosstrakh Insurance Company, were damaged as a result of fire in February, 2012. The fire started in one of the buildings on the premises of the company where nursery piglets were kept. The fire destroyed the equipment that provided subsistence for piglets, the pigsty building itself with the area of about 555 square meters was considerably damaged, and animals died from carbon monoxide asphyxia.

Expert examinations were held to establish the reasons and amount of damage. As a result, it was established that the fire resulted from a short-circuit in the fan’s electrical engine. The case was acknowledged as insurance case, and Ingosstrakh Insurance Company paid an insurance indemnity to the agricultural company in accordance with the agreement conditions. The sum of insurance payment amounted to about 4.5 m rubles.

Besides, in June this year Ingosstrakh Insurance Company paid Investagropromkomplex LLC  over 450k rubles for another loss – damage of the roofs of buildings by gusts of strong wind.

Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has been working with Investagropromkomplex LLC  in the sphere of agroindustrial insurance since 2004. During this time it insured farm animals, technics, equipment, real estate, harvest, stock and vehicles.

Let us remind you that in June, 2011 Ingosstrakh Insurance Company  paid 23.2 m rubles to Investagropromkomplex LLC  agricultural company in connection with sunflower harvest destruction by drought, which was the object of pledge in Voronezh Regional Subsidiary of Rosselkhozbank JSC  within the framework of obtained loan.
