IDGC of Centre Will Construct New Substation in Yaroslavl Region
OREANDA-NEWS. August 10, 2012. IDGC of Centre is starting construction of a new 110/10 kV substation in the city of
The new substation will connect the generating facility with high voltage networks and the substation “Tutaev 220/110 kV” of FGC UES.
Given the enormous social value of the future facility, power engineers of the company pay the most attention to its implementation: the implementation of the whole scheme of power supply to the grid will increase electricity generation by 390 million kWh per year, representing more than 5% of the regional consumption. In addition, it will create a reserve of electrical capacity, which advances the development of the infrastructure in the region and increases the reliability of its power supply.
The substation will have high-tech equipment installed that meets all modern requirements for reliable and uninterrupted operation of the power grid of facility. The capacity of two power transformers of 10/110 kV is 80 MVA. An outdoor modular switchgear will allow to minimize the size of the substation and to reduce the time of installation of equipment. The facility will also have modern systems of remote control, monitoring and energy management installed. Power engineers of
The power plant and substation is planned to be commissioned in 2013.
