OREANDA-NEWS. August 10, 2012. The Merwedegracht cargo vessel arrived at Vladivostok with two catamarans Penguin-32 and Penguin-33 onboard, reported the press-centre of Rosmorport.

As it was reported, the catamarans were rented by FSUE “Rosmorport” from Penguin International Ltd. (Singapore), in order to provide marine passenger transportation for the participants of APEC-2012, which will be held at Vladivostok on Russky Island from 5 to 10 September 2012. After port and customs registration the catamarans were set afloat and moored at berth #3 of Vladivostok seaport.

These passenger two-deck vessels were built in China in 2008. Their dimensions are the following: length – 27.67 meters, width – 8.5 meters, draught – 1.5 meters. Passenger capacity of the catamarans reaches 200 people, and their maximum speed is 25 knots.
