OREANDA-NEWS. August 9, 2012. The company “Kazakhstan temir zholy” summarizes the results of its work in the first half of the year and honors the best employees. On August 5, the railroad workers celebrate their professional holiday. They devote their successes and achievements to the Day of transport professionals.

Today the railway is not just the largest Kazakhstan carrier, it is a modern, industrial-innovative sector of the economy.

- This year, the amount of the products released by the national railway engineering industry will be KZT 155 billion.This is 15 times more than in 2008. By 2015 this figure will reach KZT 300 billion, - said the President of JSC “NC “Kazakhstan temir zholy” Askar Mamin, speaking at the ceremonial meeting of the national company team which was held in honor of the transport workers.

Askar Mamin spoke about the important tasks to be performed by railroad workers in the coming years. The main one is - execution of order of Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev to establish on the basis of JSC “NC “Kazakhstan temir zholy” transport and logistics company of international level.

KTZ has already been given to manage International Centre for Cross-Border Cooperation “Khorgos” located  on the border with China. A project to create a business and industrial hub “Khorgos” providing technological linkage of the special economic zone, the railway line Zhetygen - Korgas, Western Europe - Western China road and in the future airport is under way. The company will perform as the integrator of rail, road, water and air transport in matters of domestic and international logistics supply chain.

Congratulating the workers of the industry with their professional holiday, the president of the railway company also announced that by 2020 productivity in the industry will increase as a three-fold compared with the 2010th year.

The solemn celebration of the group of KTZ company was continued by presenting the best workers the highest industry award – the “Honorary railroad professional”. Company’s CEO warmly greeted 14 employees with the award. In total in Kazakhstan the title was given to 56 employees this year.
