OREANDA-NEWS. August 9, 2012. On August 1, 2012 futures contracts on the average power price index in the Center hub (ECBM- 7.12 and ECPM-7.12), Ural hub (EUBM-7.12 and EUPM-7.12), Western Siberia hub (SWBM- 7.12) and Eastern Siberia hub (SEBM-7.12) were settled.

In accordance with the contracts' specifications the following final settlement prices were calculated:

ECBM-7.12 – 1,079.38

ECPM-7.12 – 1,218.89

EUBM-7.12 – 1,129.58

EUPM-7.12 – 1,278.15

SEBM-7.12 – 670.76

SWBM-7.12 – 746.40

The final settlement price is computed in accordance with the contracts' specifications based on the arithmetical mean of all values of the underlying power prices index.

The below positions were settled for the following amounts:

ECBM-7.12 – 982 contracts for RUB78.833 million,

ECPM-7.12 – 420 contracts for RUB14.631 million,

EUBM-7.12 – 962 contracts for RUB80.806 million,

EUPM-7.12 – 242 contracts for RUB8.845 million.

In total, 1,479 trades in the July power futures contracts were executed for a total value of RUB3.6 billion or 49,915 contracts. Volume of trades settled amounted to RUB183 million or 2,606 contracts.
