Mindful of these objectives, he will be seeking to improve staff performance, expand the Bank’s SME credit and deposit mix, while simultaneously optimizing business procedures and enhancing automation systems within these areas.

Evgeny Totikov’s career in banking stretches back a good 17 years, with over half of this period focused on the SME segment. A graduate in metallurgical machinery from the Bauman Moscow State Technical University, he also holds a degree in Finance and Credit from the Kazan Institute of Economics and Finance. Prior to joining Uniastrum, Mr. Totikov was responsible for developing small and medium business at UniCredit Bank. From 2007 till 2009 he headed the SME credit department at Bank Soyuz, and from 2005-2007 he worked at MDM-Bank, initially supervising the operations of its lending unit before serving as Deputy Director of the SME section. Between 1995 and 2005 he worked at Moscow Credit Bank, Industrial Savings Bank, and Tomskpromstroibank.
