Proceeds from Moldovan Customs Service Increases 7,1% in 1H
OREANDA-NEWS. August 08, 2012. At the same time, the plan of proceeds in January-June 2012 is not executed by 6.5%. The greatest amount of revenue is provided by Chisinau customs - 55.87% of total customs revenue in the I half of 2012; Briceni customs - 12.3%; Leuseni customs - 10.63%; Bender Customs - 6.67% and Ungheni customs - 4 97%. From the beginning of the year the Customs Service transferred to the state budget 5.97 billion lei, forming 73% of its revenues.
According to the Customs Service, the majority of funds in January-June 2012 came from economic agents pay of VAT - 4.01 billion lei (7% less than planned) and excise taxes - more than 1 billion lei (the plan failed by 7.2%). Customs duties in the I half of 2012 amounted to 413.14 million lei (0.7% of the planned), and receipt of payment of the cost of the economic agents of customs procedures accounted for 137.01 million lei (-5.27%).
From the beginning of the year, the TC has received over 2.15 million lei from fines for various violations of the customs rules, which is 63% higher than the projected figure for this period. As it was previously reported, proceeds from Moldovan Customs in 2011 totalled 11.89 billion lei, ensuring state budget revenues by 72.3%.
