Crude Oil Production
The amount of 2,203,034 tons of crude oil was produced at TATNEFT in July or 100.1 % versus July of 2011 года. The amount of 15,116,265 tons was produced in seven months, which was 57,733 tons of crude oil more than in 2011 (100.4 %) with the above-the-plan production amounting to 339,072 tons (102.3 %). 14,854,080 tons of oil were delivered with the above-the-plan delivery amounting to 400,910 tons, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT. 

The production volume of TATNEFT Group of Companies amounted to 15,289,880 tons of crude oil with the above-the-plan production amounting to 346,127 tons (102.3 %).

New Drilling
The new drilling penetration for 7 months of 2012 amounted to 379.3 thousand meters (350.5 thousand meters in 2011):

- 281.9 thousand meters (289.3 thousand meters in 2011) were drilled for TATNEFT, including 276.6 thousand meters of production drilling and 5.3 thousand meters of exploratory drilling;

- 34.2 thousand meters (27.4 thousand meters in 2011) for subsidiaries of TATNEFT, including 26.6 thousand meters of production drilling and 7.6 thousand meters of exploratory drilling;

- 63.2 thousand meters (33.8 thousand meters in 2011) for joint ventures and independent oil companies, including 59 thousand meters of production drilling and 4.2 thousand meters of exploratory drilling.

222 wells (231 wells in 2011) were constructed and delivered to the customers:

-159 wells (176 wells in 2011) for TATNEFT, including 155 wells of production drilling and 4 wells of exploratory drilling;

- 17 wells (21 wells in 2011) for subsidiaries of TATNEFT, including 15 wells of production drilling and 2 wells of exploratory drilling;

- 46 wells (34 wells in 2011) for joint ventures and independent oil companies, including 43 wells of production drilling and 3 wells of exploratory drilling.

Active Well Stock Drilling
The total penetration of sidetracking and horizontal wellbores during seven months of 2012 amounted to 29.9 thousand meters (25.3 thousand meters in 2011):

-15.3 thousand meters (13.1 thousand meters in 2011) were penetrated for TATNEFT;

-14.6 thousand meters (12.2 thousand meters in 2011) were penetrated for joint ventures and independent oil companies.

50 wells (54 wells in 2011) were delivered to the customers:

-31 wells (36 wells in 2011) for TATNEFT;

-19 wells (18 wells in 2011) for joint ventures and independent oil companies.

38 drilling crews have been performing well drilling operations since the beginning of 2012 and 10 drilling crews are engaged in drilling lateral and lateral horizontal wellbores. One drilling crew performs drilling to the bituminous deposits of Ashalchinskoye field for NGDU "Nurlatneft". The penetration per crew in new drilling amounted to 9,849 meters for 7 months of 2012, while in 2011 the penetration per crew amounted to 10,067 meters. 49.7 thousand meters were penetrated in new drilling outside the Republic of Tatarstan.

Repair of wells
In July 2012 remedial servicing operations were performed in 787 wells (745 wells in July of 2011) with a number of the wells subjected to remedial operations for seven months amounting 4,851 wells (4,593 wells in 7 months of 2011).

34 wells were repaired outside the Republic of Tatarstan, including 33 for "Tatneft-Samara" and 1 well for "Ilekneft" (25 wells were repaired during 7 months of 2011, including, 22 wells for "Tatneft-Samara" and 3 wells for "Tatneft-Severny").

The workover operations were performed in 1,374 wells (191 wells in July) during seven months of the current year, including production string sealing performed in 187 wells, shutting-off individual layers and recompletion in other intervals were performed in 102 wells, transfer of wells into different categories and wells completion for injection in 89 wells, liquidation of downhole complications and cleaning of production casing and bottomhole in 143 wells, installation of isolating packers and dual completion systems in 39 wells and physical liquidation in 35 wells.

448 wells were worked over with application of coil tubing (61 wells in July), including 86 wells worked over through the annulus.

Formation hydrofracking operations were performed in 225 wells (34 wells in July) (184 wells during 7 months of 2011). The cumulative incremental crude oil production resulting from application of this method amounted to 5 million 704 thousand tons.

23 small diameter wells were drilled and completed for TATNEFT by the workover crews during seven months of 2012. At present drilling of one slim hole is in progress for each NGDU "Almetyevneft", NGDU "Jalilneft" and NGDU "Prikamneft".

Works on oil recovery enhancement were performed in 1,360 wells (225 wells in July), including chemical methods applied in 777 wells (133 wells in July).

The incremental crude oil production resulting from application of crude oil recovery enhancement methods amounted to 3 million 346 thousand tons with application of chemical methods accounting for the production of 1 million 514 thousand tons.

Bottomhole area treatment operations with application of TATNEFT's technologies were performed in 1,796 wells during seven months of 2012.

Crude Oil Refining
The TANECO complex of Refining and Petrochemical Plants processed 621.9 thousand tons of oil and yielded 617.3 thousand tons of oil products in July 2012.
