Sviaz-Bank Launches Connection to SMS Banking via ATMs
OREANDA-NEWS. August 08, 2012. Sviaz-Bank has gone through the first stage of introduction of its new service – connection to SMS Banking through its own automated teller machines, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.
Previously, a customer who wanted to use this service had to visit the Bank’s offices or contact center. Now, he can do this independently through an automated teller machine (ATM). This service is also available in the Megapay Internet banking system.
The SMS Banking service gives the customer an opportunity to receive the latest details of transactions performed on his card in real time and lock the card, in need. The SMS Banking service can also be used to increase the balance in cellphone accounts.
Connection to the SMS Banking service helps to monitor all transactions on the card around the clock.
To be connected, select the SMS Banking service in the main menu of an ATM, key in your cellphone number, verify the cellphone number keyed in, and collect the receipt for connection to the service.
“The SMS Banking service is extremely popular with our customers. Now that everybody is pressed for time, developing simple and convenient banking services is going to the top of our priorities,” said Maria Zenina, Director of Sviaz-Bank’s Retail Banking Products Department. “The banking service we are rolling out is more than just a convenient way for customers to monitor and conduct transactions in their accounts online, it is also an easy way to get connected to this service. I am certain that our new offer will be acclaimed by our cardholders.”
The service is available to holders of Visa International and MasterCard Worldwide plastics issued by Sviaz-Bank.
