Sviaz-Bank Launches New Service – Notary Deposit
OREANDA-NEWS. August 08, 2012. Sviaz-Bank introduces a new service, the Notary’s Deposit (Depozit Notariusa), for notaries public who accept funds from the public on deposit.* The Bank opens a special account for a notary to keep track of funds credited to the deposit account and to conduct a variety of settlement and cash handling transactions, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.
The account is opened and maintained monthly free of charge, when the Bank-Customer system is not used. In addition, customers receive a set of bonus services that are provided by the Bank without charge as well. These services include transfers between accounts with the Bank, issue of daily account balance reports, acceptance of cash, and so on.
A notary’s Deposit Account is opened in rubles for an unlimited time and entitles the customer to conduct the following transactions: cashless transfer of funds to the account (by debtors who are corporate entities or individuals), crediting of cash to the account, cashless transfer of funds from the account, issue of cash from the account (by the notary public or his representative).
“Developing cooperation between Sviaz-Bank and small and medium enterprises is among our priorities, and so the Bank is expanding the range of services it offers to the SMEs and looking for new target segments,” said Vladimir Borzenkov, Director of Sviaz-Bank’s Corporate Business Development Department.
*In situations specified in the civil laws of the Russian Federation, a notary public accepts money and securities on deposit from a debtor for transfer thereof to the creditor.
