OREANDA-NEWS. August 7, 2012. In the administration of the Yaroslavl region a working meeting of the governor of the Yaroslavl region Sergey Yastrebov and the Managing Director of JSC "NPO "Saturn", the chairman of the Yaroslavl regional branch of "Russian Engineering Union" Ilya Fedorov took place. Among the issues under discussion were the results of the company in the first half-year, fulfillment of the state defense order on aviation subjects and specialties, implementation of the serial production program of the SaM146 engine for the aircraft "Sukhoi Superjet100", the program of territorial development of territorial innovation cluster, social and personnel policy of the company.

The regional governor noted with satisfaction the implementation of the main targets of the NPO "Saturn" in the first half of 2012 (implementation of the budget in terms of production volume amounted to 106.7%, in terms of sales volume - 103.6%), highlighting the most important problem for NPO "Saturn" - the implementation of the state order for the Ministry of Defense. Ilya Fedorov told about the progress on implementation of state defense order for the repair of engines D-30KP/KP-2 for the aircrafts IL-76 and IL-78 and confirmed the execution of plans for special equipment, noting that a number of NPO "Saturn"  contracts is a six-month ahead of the schedule.

An international contract for the D-30KP-2 engine is also successfully implemented.

In terms of the program SaM146 development Ilya Fedorov said that according to the plans of production in 2012 of 48 engines NPO "Saturn" is methodically increasing capacities. From the production of two engines a month in early 2012 the task is set on the release output cycle of  six sets per month to the end of the year and eight - by early next year. Therefore, manufacturing, assembling, testing and shipping four engines SaM146 to Komsomolsk-on-Amur in June was for "Saturn" an intermediate, but significant result. In the July shipment plans are five sets of the SaM146. Sergei Yastrebov noted that this result is a natural result of systematic work of all departments of the enterprise, especially the production department of NPO "Saturn".

Personnel and social policy of NPO "Saturn" deserved a high estimate of Sergei Yastrebov. Increase in production of the company, a secured order book increases the need for more skilled workers. In the first place, NPO "Saturn" invites professional working staff, paying a special attention to raising the qualifications of newly hired employees at corporate training Center reinforcing the recruiting by wide social practices. This concerns indexing of wages and support of mass cultural, sports, recreation, and youth movements, as well as lump-sums payments, including young workers admitted to the company after they graduate a higher school  or transfer to the reserve after their military service. This is also the discount program, according to which company employees get discounts at a number of organizations and companies in the network of  Rybinsk corporate cafeterias. This is also unprecedented in the industry the housing program “New apartments to the best workers”.

Governor Sergei Yastrebov announced the intention to fully support development of territorial innovation clusters "Gas turbine and power engineering" which is a key organization of NPO "Saturn" in close cooperation with the City of Rybinsk. Implementation of the projects included into the program development, will form a modern infrastructure in the area of  the cluster base, including research laboratories, technology transfer centers, business incubators, technology parks, etc.

Traditional working meetings between the governor and managing director of the largest high-tech enterprise in the region will continue to be conducted on a regular basis.
