OREANDA-NEWS. August 7, 2012. “Pikalyovsky cement”, JSC which is part of the “EUROCEMENT group” Holding, summed up the results of work in the first half of 2012. The positive dynamics is observed for the production and shipment of cement.

For the six months 724,100 tons of clinker have been produced. Cement production totaled 831,200 tons, which is 3,8% more in comparison with the first half of 2011.

In general, 832,600 tons of cement have been shipped to consumers, which is 2.8% more in comparison with the corresponding figures for 2011. Moreover, about three thousand tons of cement have been shipped for export to Finland. The volume of shipments of plain cement increased by 64.8%. The range of cement produced has also been expanded, from March 2012 the plant is producing the cement of following grades CEM I 42,5 N, from May 2012 – PC 400-D20-N. From April 2012 cement is shipped to Moscow elevators.

Realizing its production program for the period of January-June of 2012 “Pikalyovsky cement”, JSC took up and paid for 427,000 tons of nepheline slime.

It should be noted that the supply of the limestone from the third parties totaled 281,400 tons. In just the first half of 2012 limestone mining in its own career amounted to about 279,000 tons.
