OREANDA-NEWS. August 07, 2012. Ryanair, Europe’s only ultra-low cost airline, confirmed it will switch 5 of its routes operating to/from Kaunas Airport to Vilnius Airport from 7th November 2012. Ryanair’s routes to/from Brussels Charleroi, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool, Luton and Oslo Rygge will transfer to Vilnius, while Ryanair’s routes between Kaunas and Bristol, Dublin, Frankfurt Hahn and London Stansted will continue to operate as normal, reported the press-centre of Vilnius Airport.

Ryanair’s Nordic & Baltic Sales & Marketing Executive Elina Hakkarainen said:

“From 7th November, five of Ryanair’s Kaunas Airport routes will be moved to Vilnius Airport. Ryanair’s routes to Brussels Charleroi, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool, Luton and Oslo Rygge will all transfer to Vilnius this winter.

“Kaunas remains an important Ryanair base and its routes to/from Bristol, Dublin, Frankfurt Hahn and London Stansted will be unaffected.”
