OREANDA-NEWS. August 6, 2012. The Krasnodar branch of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company won the tender for insurance of three sea vessels of the Tuapse Commercial Sea Port Open Joint-Stock Company. The total insurance sum under the agreement amounts to 298 m rubles.

The vessels are insured on the conditions “With liability for destruction and damage.” Under the insurance agreement, reimbursable losses include those resulting from complete actual or constructive loss of vessels, expenses related to elimination of damage to the hull, mechanisms, machines, equipment and instrumentation, expenses on the accident in total, necessary and appropriate expenses on vessels rescue, necessary and appropriate expenses related to prevention, reduction and determination of the amount of loss. The insurance agreement is concluded for 5 years.

Tuapse Commercial Sea Port Open Joint-Stock Company (TCSP OJSC) is the main operator of one of the largest ports in Russia – Tuapse sea port. The company’s annual cargo turnover exceeds 18 m tons of cargo a year. The ratio of oil and dry cargo in the structure of cargo turnover of TCSP OJSC amounts to 75 % and 25 %, respectively. TCSP OJSC’s main shareholder is UCL Port.
