OREANDA-NEWS. August 06, 2012. Mr. Wang Liping, the Economic & Commercial Counselor the Embassy of Peoples Republic of China to Iran, paid a visit to the jobsite of Ardakan Steel Making Project, reported the press-centre of 20MCC Group.  

This works is being under construction by the 22nd China Metallurgical Construction Group (22MCC Group) on an EPC basis, with a design annual capacity of 800,000 tons. Senior managements of KDD Group, an Iranian based private organization and the cooperative partner of MCC Group in Iran, accompanied the delegation during the visit.

Up to now all the civil works has been completed, and the substation (23KV) was put into operation in the end of last year. The other works, such as the installation of machinery equipment and pipelines, as well as the cable laying works, have been almost finished. All the workshops under the project will be successively put into trial run. The whole project is expected to be put into commissioning in the end of December 2012.

The Commercial Counselor and his delegation members conducted a visit to the substation (23KV) and learned about the latest progress of the project implementation. Wang placed a high premium on the perfect performance of 22MCC Group during the project implementation.
