OREANDA-NEWS.  August 06, 2012. A joint delegation of Palfinger (Austria) and Sany Group (China) visited KAMAZ.

Among the guests were top managers of the both companies, including Herbert Ortner, CEO of Palfinger, and Yi Xiaogang, Member of the Board of Sany Group. The purpose of the delegation`s visit is to negotiate with the management of OJSC KAMAZ on long-term cooperation, reported the press-centre of KAMAZ.   

Accompanied by Yuri Klochkov, First Deputy Director General – CEO of OJSC KAMAZ, the foreign visitors saw a cab assembly conveyor and the main assembly line at the Automobile Plant. They were also presented a process of production of special equipment for vehicles and crane-manipulators there.

In the course of their negotiations, the parties expressed mutual interest in cooperation. Sany Group is China’s leading producer of special construction equipment, and Palfinger produces lifting equipment. According to the top managers of KAMAZ, the company`s products are in high demand among manufacturers of special equipment, because the Automobile Plant offers a wide range of chassis on which various superstructures can be installed. An example of this is long-term and effective cooperation between KAMAZ and Palfinger: customers highly appreciated KAMAZ vehicles with Palfinger crane-manipulators on their chassis.
