OREANDA-NEWS. August 06, 2012. Sviaz-Bank acted as paying agent authorized by Rostelecom OJSC to pay interest on the eleventh coupon of the company’s Series 13 bonds, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank. 

The bondholders were paid coupon interest at a rate of 6.5% per annum, or 16 rubles 21 kopecks per security. In all, the Bank paid 6,166,955 rubles 31 kopecks in interest after tax.

Rostelecom OJSC issued its Series 13 bonds on February 15, 2011, by converting Series BO-01 bonds of the Southern Telecommunications Company OJSC that had been taken over by Rostelecom OJSC.

The Southern Telecommunications Company OJSC offered its three-year Series BO-01 bond issue on October 21, 2009, to raise 2 billion rubles. Sviaz-Bank acted as managing underwriter and agent bank.
