(‘Aozora’ or ‘the Bank’) announced that the remodeling of its Sapporo Branch employing the Bank’s innovative “Urban Oasis Under an Aozora Sky” design concept will be completed on Tuesday, September 18, 2012. The remodeling is intended to coincide with the celebration of the Sapporo branch’s important 50 year anniversary.

In preparation for this significant change, the Sapporo Branch will open a temporary counter on the second floor of its building during the renovation period which will take place from Monday, August 27, 2012 through Friday, September 14, 2012. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that may be caused during this renovation period. Your kind understanding is greatly appreciated.

Aozora’s new branch design is based upon the concept of an oasis in the city. This unique and innovative design features the Bank’s signature “Aozora” color, wood tone booths and the suggestion of bamboo in the customer meeting spaces. All of these features have been created with the intent of enhancing comfort and privacy for the Bank’s customers.
