OREANDA-NEWS. August 03, 2012. At the Beijing Hotel, Yang Wansheng, CMEC Chairman and Party Secretary, met with Kenya’s Prime Minister Raila Odinga who was attending the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) in China, reported the press-centre of CMEC.

During the meeting, Mr. Yang gave a brief introduction of CMEC and particularly its achievements and experience in undertaking hydropower plant, water supply and wind power plant projects to Prime Minister Odinga, and exchanged views with him on related projects.

Prime Minister Odinga gave full recognition to CMEC’s achievements in international engineering contracting and indicated that he would actively support CMEC’s projects in Kenya.

Also present at the meeting were Wang Hong, assistant to the President, Yin Zhixin, General Manager of the 6th Complete Plants Division, and Wang Wei, Deputy General Manager of CMEC International Engineering Co., Ltd.
