PM: Hryvnia Rate Will Be Stable
OREANDA-NEWS. August 03, 2012. The Cabinet of Ministers and the National Bank of Ukraine will not allow the devaluation of national currency; the hryvnia’s rate will be stable.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said this during his working trip to Zaporizhia region.
"You can see that hryvnia’s rate remains stable for 2.5 years the. It will be stable until the election, and remain stable after the elections, because we solve the problem not due to the election, but on the basis of economic development and economic development requires stability" - Mykola Azarov said.
Communicating with employees of the Dnieper water station number 1, the Prime Minister once again stressed that Government will continue to increase wages, pensions based solely on the possibilities of economic growth.
"We have not turned on a printing press for 2.5 years, we will not turn on it in the future", - said Mykola Azarov.
