OREANDA-NEWS. August 03, 2012. Eurasia Insurance Company has paid KZT34m in respect of fire damage at an enterprise in Bangladesh, -the press service of the company informed, Kapital.kz reported.

As a result of the fire, property, reinsured by Eurasia Insurance Company, was damaged and destroyed. Eurasia as part of its share of liability made an interim claim payment of USD229,000.

Destroyed enterprise is owned by Star Particle Board Mills, which is an agro-based substitute of wood in Bangladesh. Through the continuous improvement of production process, Star Particle Board Mills has been producing its products for the last 40 years. It preserves timber resources and provides a product of excellent properties, cheap and eco-friendly. Products of Star Particle Board Mills are basically a substitute of sawn and sized timber, which prevent deforestation, thus strengthening the ecological balance in the country.

Product range of the company is quite wide and includes manufacturing particleboard materials, veneers of various designs and texture, doors of simple and decorative finishing, furniture and plywood.
