OREANDA-NEWS. August 2, 2012. According to the settlement resolution of an insurance case - damage to non-propelled refuel barge "SPD-1028" as a result of a storm, Oranta has paid the indemnity of 273 648.92 hryvnia. The incident occurred in Evpatoria sea port in the Mirniy village.

During bad weather the barge was anchored in front of the berths №1 of the South Spit in the port. With the strengthening of the north-east wind up to 30 meters per second the barge ship was wrecked with the anchors, and the wind leaned it heavily on the dock. As a consequence, there was a collision with the stern of the barge dock. During the collision the ship had suffered damage - punched ahterpik, aft fuel tank corps in the engine room, cut off the side of the deck frames and other damages at the area of approximately 60 square meters.

The customer under this agreement was a legal person, the indemnity compensation to the insured was paid by Oranta on July 19, 2012.
