OREANDA-NEWS. August 1, 2012. Central Bank of India organized out reach programme under Financial Inclusion programme at Vilad village, Ahmednagar District. The programme was chaired by Shri Mohan V. Tanksale, Chairman& Managing director of the bank. Along with him Shri R. B. Gupta, General Manager, Shri B. S. Shekhawat, Zonal Manager, Shri P. P. Nachankar, Regional Manager were present. In the presence of approximately 1000 villagers Shri Tanksale inaugurated the Ultra Small Branch and felicitated the children of the village who have excelled in the SSC examinations. Smart cards were distributed to the villagers and loans were distributed to women’s Self Help Group. On this occasion technique provider DSK authorizes, demonstrated the transactions through smart card. Addressing the large number of gathering of people Shri Tanksale expressed his happiness over the presence of women in large number. He further said that on the one hand where bank is providing financial assistance to the large borrowers, at the same time bank is also providing loans to small borrowers and also aware of its corporate social responsibilities.
