To SMS, a customer needs to type: EBILL<space>consumer no<space>email address. Customers can also register for this service through the website: cp.tatapower.com

Tata Power customers are joining the green economy drive by consciously saying no to paper bills and opting for e-bill. The number of e-bill registrations has grown enormously with increasing sensitisation and methods to register for e-bill. More than 1000 customers have already availed this facility and are rightly the citizens who are willing to make a difference with their unique contribution for a better future.

Speaking on the initiative, S Padmanabhan, executive director, operations, Tata Power, said, “It’s our endeavour to constantly innovate and provide services to exceed customer expectations. This additional feature on e-bill module will help more customers to go green and also reduce usage of paper, a more environmental friendly option.”
