Ukraine Will Develop Sports Infrastructure
OREANDA-NEWS. August 01, 2012. From the beginning of next year, the Government will start implementation of an ambitious program for the development of sports infrastructure in Ukraine based on a principle of "3 for 27". The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said this during the familiarization with the work of the Olympic Reserve Training School.
"We are working on a program that we call the "3 for 27". It provides that three sports facilities: the stadium, swimming pool and a universal sports complex should be built or upgraded in each region. We are going to open such modern sports complexes in next few years" - Mykola Azarov said.
The Prime Minister stressed that this big sports program derives from the programs to improve life in the country and the government will do everything to ensure that sport has become part of everyday life of Ukrainians in the first place - the youth.
