OREANDA-NEWS. July 31, 2012. At ANTONOV Company, the conference on operation of ANTONOV aircraft including the AN-12, AN-24, AN-26, AN-30, AN-32, AN-74 and AN-140 was held. Representatives of 17 airlines of Ukraine, East-European Air Transport Association, State aviation service of Ukraine, ANTONOV Company, SE “410 Plant of Civil Aviation”, Motor Sich JSC took part in the conference.  

In his opening speech, Dmytro Kiva, President – General Designer of ANTONOV Company, said in particular: "dialogue, exchange of views between operator, designer and manufacturer is an effective method to provide integrated after-sale support of the aircraft in operation. ANTONOV Company as a designer and as a manufacturer of airplanes did and does everything to provide full cycle of their support in operation”.

During a conference specialists of ANTONOV made a reports about fulfillment of works to increase service life of the AN airplanes, about organization of operational documentation maintenance, about new methods of organization of technical maintenance, after-sale support and upgrading of ANs. They became the subject of an active discussion. After that new ANTONOV programs were presented.

Participants of the conference familiarised in details with modern programmes of the Company, new technologies used when designing ANTONOV aircraft. They also visited assembly shops and test-flight laboratory. Training of the AN-148 flight crews on the CTS-148, the newest complex simulator of D level developed and built by specialists of ANTONOV Company, was appreciated. Representatives of the airlines believe that use of such a simulator allows to provide higher level of the pilots’ training.
