OREANDA-NEWS. July 31, 2012. In the coming days, the draft Strategy for Information Society Development in Ukraine will be presented to the Cabinet of Ministers.

According to the Chairman of the State Service Agency for Science, Innovation and Information, the head of the National Program of Informatization Volodymyr Semynozhenko, this project - in fact the project of authorities and public society. The work on it has demonstrated that the international initiative "Partnership" Open Government" supported by President Viktor Yanukovych, started to work.

"I have no doubt that the outcome of this work is really a decent, it is an effective document that will change a lot in our country and our society," - Volodymyr Semynozhenko said.

We recall that a few days ago, the draft Strategy, developed by a working group with participation of leading scientists, experts, representatives of government, local government, relevant associations, leading educational institutions, mass media, has been submitted for public discussion at the enlarged meeting of scientific and technical Council of the National informatization Program.
