There was a catastrophic storm in Melbourne city, Victoria State, Australia. The hurricane, as it was indicated, tore roofs of buildings and felled trees that caused breaks in power lines. As a result of a disaster, thousands of buildings were destroyed, huge cracks have appeared in roads, supplies of electricity, gas and water were also affected.

Property, which was damaged from the results of storm, was reinsured by Eurasia Insurance Company. As part of its share of liability, Eurasia made a claim payment of more than AUD 8,800. Thus, the total amount of payments made by Eurasia amounted to AUD 60,600.
