In this case, the amount of cash withdrawn from such bank cards rose by 14.7% - from USD 7 billion 871.7 million to USD 9 million 031.7 million lei, while the volume of cashless payments on them has increased by 36.8% - 282.85 to 386.95 million lei mln.do.

According to the National Bank, in January-June 2012 volume of transactions carried out abroad on credit cards issued in Moldova exceeded the same period last year, up 17.4% - from 505.9 million to 593.7 million lei . In particular, the amount of cash taken from these cards abroad increased by 8% - from 144.7 million to 156.3 million lei, while the volume of cashless payments on these cards grew by 21% - from 361.3 million up to 437.4 million lei.

In the I half of 2012 the volume of transactions in Moldova, with cards issued abroad increased by 18.7% - from 742.9 million to 881.9 million lei. The volume of cash taken from these cards, grew by 19% - from 522.4 million to 621.9 million lei, while the volume of cashless payments on them has increased by 17.8% - from 220.5 million to 259 9 million lei.
