OREANDA-NEWS.  July 30, 2012. As specified the State Enterprise "Moldovan Railways”, the movement of trains on the previously planned route," Bender-Ocnita "is impossible due to the fact that the movement of trains through the v.Bulboaka was not coordinated with Customs and Border Protection in Moldova.

The passengers of "Chisinau-Ocnita" will move with train of high level of comfort. The modernized train will run on odd days, and passengers can buy tickets to Ocnita at the old prices. On even-numbered days passengers will be able to move "Chisinau-Ocnita," but on another train. The modernized train will stop only in regional centers.

Timetable of train "Ocnita-Chisinau" will allow residents of northern regions to transfer to the train № 105-106, "Chisinau-Buharest." As it was previously reported, the first modernized train was refurbished in Romania for 2.2 million euro.

It has 4 cars, 267 seats in three classes equipped with comfortable seating, air conditioning, modern toilets. All seats are equipped with outlets for charging cell phones and laptops, passengers have the possibility to use internet on the train, watch TV. There is video surveillance.

The new train can reach speed of up to 120 kilometers per hour, but some of the problematic parts of the road it will slow down the movement to 80-85 km. The upgraded diesel train consumes 5 times less fuel than normal.
