OREANDA-NEWS. July 30, 2012. The Russian championship in volleyball among sport clubs and physical training groups in Anapa is over. The picked volleyball player team of TATNEFT from Almetyevsk became a winner and a holder of the Big Champions' Cup. All in all there were 12 Russian teams taking part in the Championship. The oilmen carried off the final game with a three-time champion of the past tournaments, the volleyball picked up team from Stavropol, with 3:2 score, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.  

"It was a rigorous game. All the guys were "charged" for the victory and demonstrated a very good result. "Thanks a lot to everybody for the game - said Alex Deshin, the team captain and coach after the match. - We express our special gratitude to the management of TATNEFT for a tremendous support and contribution to the development of this kind of sport, as well as to the City Volleyball Federation, which celebrates its tenth anniversary this year".

This is the biggest victory of the TATNEFT volleyball players, holders of the Champions Cup of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2012, as part of the national championship.
