OREANDA-NEWS. July 27, 2012. Ukrainian PrivatBank was included in the TOP-10 largest banks of Central and Eastern Europe, annually published by British magazine The Banker within the TOP-1000 world leading banks ranking.

As The Banker reported in its July's issue, PrivatBank is the largest bank in Ukraine and one of the most fast-growing banks in the world. Last year, the bank enhanced its position in TOP-1000 by 36 items from 369 up to 333 line.

Also in 2012, for the first time in the history of the domestic banking, the Ukrainian bank entered the TOP-10 largest European banks of the region. According to The Banker, PrivatBank occupied the ninth position in the TOP-10 banks of Central and Eastern Europe and had the potential to become the leader not only in the country but in the region too, in case that the current pace of development would be maintained.
