OREANDA-NEWS. July 27, 2012. A delegation from Chinese National Nuclear Corporation (CNCC) visited Izhorskiye Zavody, part of OMZ Group.

The delegation was comprised of YU Peigen, CNCC’s vice-president, WU Xiujiang, General Director of Jiangsu Nuclear Power Corporation (JNPC), LIN Sen, head of International Business department at CNCC and other representatives of CNCC and JNPC.

The delegation visited engineering and metallurgical facilities of Izhora industrial complex and examined manufacturing of equipment for the second stage of Tianwan NPP. The guests are satisfied with the progress and quality of works and expressed readiness for further cooperation.

According to the contract concluded in 2012, Izhorskiye Zavody will produce two VVER-1000 reactor vessels for the second stage of Tianwan NPP with internals and upper blocks. Delivery of equipment will be completed in 2014.
