Accompanied by General Manager Zhang Zhiliang of Treasury Department and Deputy General Manager Yang Ming of International Exhibition Co., Ltd. of the CMEC, President Zhang Chun attended at invitation the Opening Ceremony of Sino-African Trade and Investment Fair at China National Convention Center in Beijing and briefed at the CMEC booth on the Corporation’s engineering contracting projects in Africa to Vice President Zhu Xinqiang of the Export-Import Bank of China and President of the African Export-Import Bank among other distinguished guests from home and abroad, reported the press-centre of CMEC.

Co-organized by the Export-Import Bank of China and the African Export-Import Bank, the Sino-African Trade and Investment Fair saw the participation of 50 enterprises and financial organizations from China and Africa. CMEC set up a booth at China National Convention Center where staff members from the 2nd and the 3rd Complete Plants Divisions and the International Engineering Co., Ltd. of the CMEC participated in the exhibition throughout. Divided into the Exhibition Zone and the Business Negotiation Zone, the Fair invited about 600 representatives from different countries in Africa, providing a platform for exchanges and trade cooperation between Chinese and African enterprises.
