OREANDA-NEWS. July 25, 2012. Cargo traffic at seaports of Ukraine in January-June 2012 increased by 0.4% on the previous year’s figure, to 76.15 million tons, the National Statistics Service of Ukraine said.

The volume of cargo handling in river ports of the country declined by 9.4% to 2.11 million tons.

Shipments of exported cargoes through the country’s seaports increased by 16.5% to 46.94 million tons, while imports fell 5% to 8.53 million tons. Transit cargo dropped by 20.5% to 20.1 million tons, the statistics said.
