OREANDA-NEWS.  July 25, 2012. As it was informed in the National Bank, in their structure, net external assets of the convertibles of the NBM increased by USD 21.1 million, of banks - by USD 47.4 million.

Foreign assets of the banking system in June totaled USD 2 billion 429.5 million, surpassing the USD 82.7 million the previous month figures.

NBM external reserves rose in June by USD 16 million - to USD 2 billion 059 million, external liabilities of the banking system amounted to USD 891.2 million, including those of NBM (to IMF) - USD 390.8 million in June 2012, net domestic assets of the banking system increased by 223 4 million lei (0.9%), the requirements of the banking system to the economy grew by 863.7 million lei, while claims on government fell by 180.4 million lei.
