Sberbank Collected RUB 360mn for Flood Victims
OREANDA-NEWS. July 25, 2012. Over RUB 360 million has already entered the accounts opened by Sberbank for the collection of funds to help the flood victims in the Krasnodar Territory. The funding recipient is the All-Russia Public Organization “Russian Red Cross”, reported the press-centre of Sberbank.
Two portable mobile offices of Sberbank which specially arrived from Saint-Petersburg and Moscow, work in the Krymsk district from 8.00 a.m. to the last customer. The offices are equipped, in particular, with payment terminals and teller machines.
Sberbank’s divisions located in the mostly affected settlements of the Krymsk district (Krymsk, Nizhnebakanskaya stanitsa, Novoukrainsky village) work in two shifts to 10.00 p.m. without days off.
“We sent about 30 additional employees to the Krymsk district and our unique mobile offices which made it possible to avoid excitement and queues,” noted Herman Gref, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of Sberbank of Russia.
The residents of the Krasnodar Territory whose documents were lost a result of the disaster can receive the money from their accounts with Sberbank. For this, an ID certificate which may be executed by the Krymsk administration will be enough.
Special concessional terms are in effect for individual borrowers affected in the Krasnodar Territory.
The collection of funds is still continuing. Voluntary donations are accepted without a fee.
