OREANDA-NEWS. July 24, 2012. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company launches for its clients a new version of mobile Android OS and iOS-based application. Now, with a mobile phone it is possible to order a life-insurance policy and obtain casualty insurance. Before the users of the Ingosstrakh Insurance Company mobile application could order MTPL and hull insurance, property insurance, voluntary health insurance policies.

The new version of the software contains the information about the programs “Life Insurance”, “Casualty”, “Pension Funds Insurance”. It also gives the client detailed instructions on what to do in case of loss occurrence for life and casualty insurance. The client not only gets information about the measures to be taken, but also the full list of documents s/he will need for receiving the insurance indemnity.

For the users’ comfort a new section “My profile” has been created. The client may at his/her wish provide in it the information about himself, his automobile and active policies. The section “My profile” once filled in, the client will not need to give this data again for filling in the claims. The given data will be transferred from the profile to the claim form for order to the loss occurrence form automatically. For all types of insurance available via the mobile application the client may send an insurance order, or order the manager’s call at a convenient time.

Ingosstrakh Insurance Company launched the mobile application for its clients’ insurance in November 2011. The software was designed for on-line co-operation with the underwriter and on-the-spot settlement of a whole range of problems. The key function of the software is to help in a difficult situation. In particular, the hull insurance holders have an opportunity to place a motor accident statement in a remote mode. To do this it is necessary to fill in the fields in the form, and to describe the damage it is enough to mark what part has been damaged on a pictorial model of the automobile. If the telephone is GPS-equipped, before sending the order the client will be proposed to mention the GPS-positioning data of the damaged car.

The mobile software will help fast and easily find the nearest Ingosstrakh Insurance Company office. The mobile telephone will define the user’s position with the help of GPS and give the information on the nearest offices of the insurance company. The data about the offices cover all the territory of Russia.

The application is available for users of all mobile telephones supporting Android OS and iOS platforms. It is possible to download it free of charge at Android Market and Apple Store.
