OREANDA-NEWS. July 24, 2012. JSC IRKUT Corporation takes an active part in the “Engineers of the future 2012” forum being held in Irkutsk. Business part of the forum provides participants with a workshop tour to the Irkutsk aviation plant – branch of JSC IRKUT Corporation.

Young specialists of the Russian industrial complex will learn the advanced aircraft production technologies as well as effective employment training system being implemented at the plant. Participants of the forum will be able to see how the preparation of Irkutsk aviation plant for MC-21 short/mid range narrowbody aircraft production.

At the press-conference covering the forum Alexey Fedorov, President of JSC IRKUT Corporation, said: “Today we are on the crucial phase of the project – creation of the MC-21 project documentation. Project documents are being transferred primarily to the Irkutsk aviation plant digitally and in 3D models. This advanced technology is mastered by the Engineer Center and industrial enterprises”.

Second International Youth Forum Industrial Engineers of the future 2012 organized by the Russian Engineering Union and the Government of Irkutsk Region will be held 19-30 July in Bolshoe Goloustnoe village at the Baikal Lake. More than 2000 young specialists and managers being involved in the industry as well as students of technical universities of Russia, CIS and foreign countries will take part in the forum.

Over 20 educational programs, lectures and seminars will be represented by the leaders of the major Russian and European enterprises at the forum. Other events of the forum are global job fair, an exhibition of scientific and technical creativity of youth, workshops, trainings and business games, as well as sport and cultural events at the shore of Baikal Lake.
