OREANDA-NEWS. July 24, 2012. The meeting of shareholders of OJSC "MC "United Engine Building Corporation" (a subsidiary company of OJSC "UIC "OBORONPROM") confirmed a new system of the company management.  

Vladislav Masalov, who is now the General director of FSUE "Scientific and research center of gas turbine building "Salut" is appointed the  General director of OJSC "MC "UEC".

- in 1992 graduated from the financial economical department in the State Financial Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation in specialization "Finances and credit". 

- from 1992 till 2004 held the leading positions in some financial industrial companies and bank structures. 

- 2004 - 2005 - Deputy chairman of the Board of LLC " Group "Absolut".

- 2005 - 2009 - General Director of the company group LLC CIC "Gletcher".

-2009 - 2010 - Deputy General Director in Economics and Finances, Deputy Executive Director - Financial and Economical Director in OJSC "RDC "Saturn".

- 2010 - 2011 - acting General Director of FSUE "Scientific and research center of gas turbine building "Salut".

- since 31st of March, 2011- the General Director of  FSUE "Scientific and research center of gas turbine building "Salut".

According to the Orders of the President of the Russian Federation and the Government Resolutions OJSC "UIC OBORONPROM" consolidated the enterprises of the engine building industry into UEC holding. In 2009-10 in the purposes of centralization of management functions OJSC "MC UEC" became the managing company of all the enterprises, united into the group. This allowed realizing uniform policy of production, marketing, sales and service, which resulted in the growth of the sales of the production manufactured. 

Since the moment of creation of the engine building holding company the development strategy has been confirmed, a new structure of management has been generated and new forms of business organization have been implemented.  The current changes in OJSC "MC "UEC" management are connected with the plans of further development and realization of perspective projects. The strategic objective of UEC is winning one of the leading positions at the global market of gas turbine equipment.
