OREANDA-NEWS. July 23, 2012. A delegation of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company headed by Ingosstrakh Insurance Company Director General A.V. Grigoryev visited the Republic of Bashkortostan. In the city of Ufa, the insurance company delegation had a meeting with the President of Bashkortostan R.Z. Khamitov and the Prime Minister of the Government A.F. Ilimbetov. In the course of the conversation, issues of further development of the civilized insurance market, improvement of the insurance culture, property and financial interest protection of companies and individuals in the Republic (in particular, in the agricultural sector, housing and public utilities, construction, health care, power sector and industry) were discussed. Much attention was devoted to cooperation in social, environmental, and educational projects, implemented within the territory of Bashkortostan, in particular, federal target program "Accessible environment", UN environment protection campaign "One billion trees", Ingosstrakh Insurance Company partnership within the framework of preparation for the Olympic Games in Sochi 2014.

Ingosstrakh Insurance Company and the Government of Bashkortostan concluded an agreement on cooperation aimed at the insurance culture development among the citizens and business entities of the Republic.

Under the agreement, a number of programs and projects shall be implemented for insurance popularization and quality improvement of the insurance coverage of individuals and entities in the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Ingosstrakh Insurance Company and the Government of Bashkortostan have an intention to promote the development of the Republic insurance market introducing new insurance products and services according to the principles of free cooperation and current legislation. During the fulfillment of the agreement terms and conditions, the parties shall promote strengthening of the Bashkortostan Republic image in cooperation with the representatives Russian and foreign insurance companies.

The parties to the agreement shall carry out their activity for the development of joint projects and programs on terms of antitrust compliance and compliance with laws on orders placement.

According to Alexandr Grigoryev, the Director General of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company: "Our Company has been implementing social projects for a number of years already promoting the development of the insurance service market and quality improvement of citizens' insurance coverage. In this regard, the importance of the agreement concluded with the Government of Bashkortostan is hard to overestimate. It will enable to arrange cooperation at the fundamentally new level, and implement the projects stimulating the insurance culture development of individuals and business entities of the Republic."
