OREANDA-NEWS. July 23, 2012. The facility will be constructed by the holding's subsidiary LLC TITANSTROYSERVIS/ Within the frameworks of the contract its specialists will perform the full set of building and assembly works  at the construction of  a training facility for the second  Leningrad NPP.

Today TITAN -2 holding's builders are performing the building foundation works. According to the preliminary estimates the total cost of works will be more than 95 million roubles.

The key function of the training facility under construction will be training of the personnel working at  Leningrad NPP-2. The full-featured training simulator  will simulate all the processes taking place at the nuclear station and will allow the students to train different situations which arise in the course of its practical works.

TITAN-2 Holding is the largest Group of Companies in the North-West of Russia which erects the most important facilities of nuclear industry and power engineering and performs the full cycle of building and assembly work, from development of design documentation to the facility commissioning. The Holding consists of about 15 organizations and employs about 4,500 employees with more than 40-year-experience in construction of unique and super-complicated facilities. Construction of Leningrad NPP-2 power units is performed within the frameworks of the "Program of Activity of Rosatom  State Nuclear Corporation for the Long-Term Period (2009-2015 years)", approved by the RF Government  Resolution №705 of September 20, 2008. and is  the first project of new construction in the domestic nuclear branch after  20-year break.
