OREANDA-NEWS. July 23, 2012. Eurasia Insurance Company has paid KZT3m for fire at textile factory in Istanbul, - Kazakhstan Today reports.

In April this year, the fire occurred in the territory of EDPA Tekstil Ticaret A.S. in Istanbul, - the press service of the company informed.

As a result of the insured event the property of the company, reinsured by Eurasia Insurance Company, was damaged and destroyed. Eurasia as part of its share of liability made an interim claim payment of USD20,000.

EDPA Tekstil, founded in 1993, is part of the largest textile holding in Turkey – Akin Holding. The Company specializes in the manufacture and sale of yarns, various kinds of fabrics, clothes and home textile.
