VSMPO and Messier-Bugatti-Dowty Extend Long Term Supply Agreement
OREANDA-NEWS. July 20, 2012. Russian titanium VSMPO – AVISMA Corporation (VSMPO) announced on July 10th, 2012 that it has agreed with Messier-Bugatti-Dowty (Safran group) on an amendment of their existing long term contract for titanium forgings and value-added processing.
Under the terms of the amended contract, VSMPO will continue to provide Messier-Bugatti-Dowty and its suppliers with titanium forgings and semi-finished machined parts in support of their landing gear manufacturing requirements for the Boeing 787 program. VSMPO will provide the required support of this contract, including logistics and just-in-time delivery services through its global sales and distribution network locations in the
