OREANDA-NEWS. July 20, 2012. The administrative authorities of Northern Capital Gateway LLC and employees of the Airport signed the Collective Employment Agreement 2012-2015.

Collective bargaining initiated by employees started in April 2012. Initiators held the conference where they elected the United Representative Body and its Chairman - Yaroslav Novitsky. Primary trade union organizations of All-Russian Aviation Workers Union (ARAWU) and SOTSPTOF which operate in the company were invited to take part in preparation of the Collective Employment Agreement. Employees of the company and trade union organizations entered many amendments to the draft of the agreement based on the prior document of JSC “Pulkovo Airport”.

On July 4, 2012 the NCG LLC United Representative Body approved the final version of the Collective Employment Agreement 2012-2015.

“The Collective Employment Agreement signing is a significant achievement of Northern Capital Gateway LLC. The responsible social policy is the root principle of our company. We will continue to improve working conditions when the Collective Employment Agreement is signed. We expect trade unions and the Labour Council will help us to improve the quality of passenger service. I am sure that the Collective Employment Agreement conclusion will raise the industrial efficiency and strengthen the material well-being of each employee,” - said Sergey Emdin, CEO of Northern Capital Gateway LLC.

“We worked hard to create mutually acceptable Collective Employment Agreement as the basis of employer-employee relationship in our company. Employees from all the departments of Pulkovo Airport took part in this project. We took into consideration suggestions and requests of employees and trade union organizations operating in Pulkovo Airport - the Primary Trade Union Organization of All-Russian Aviation Workers Union which comprises 20% of employees and SOTSPROF which comprises 16% of employees. The NCG LLC Collective Employment Agreement signed today is a compromise between the administrative authorities of the company and employees. It guarantees that the total revenue will be increased by not less than 15% in the three-year period as well as strengthens the social protection. We will control the Collective Employment Agreement performance and develop social partnership in Pulkovo Airport,” – said Yaroslav Novitsky, Chairman of the NCG LLC United Representative Body.

“We welcome the Collective Employment Agreement signed by employees and administrative authorities of Northern Capital Gateway LLC. This is the important stage of the company’s development. Big companies should sign the collective employment agreement with their employees, thus providing supplementary guarantees which are beyond the standards of the Labour Code,” – said Vladimir Poludnyakov, First Deputy Chairman of SOTSPROF.

“All the employees of our trade union were waiting edgily for the Collective Employment Agreement signing. This agreement has not only kept benefits provided by JSC “Pulkovo Airport”, but increased their number. The Labour Dispute Committee was created and representatives of trade unions as well as the Labour Council became its members. We will continue to increase the number of benefits in order to protect the employees’ interests,” - said Valery Tislenko, Chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization of All-Russian Aviation Workers Union.
