OREANDA-NEWS. July 20, 2012. In June 2012 Northern Capital Gateway LLC the Pulkovo Airport Operator put into service a new commercial parking area of 5,000 sq. m. with the capacity of 186 stalls near Pulkovo-2 terminal. Currently, there are 1,086 stalls at free and paid parking areas near Pulkovo-2 terminal.

“In 2011 fifty-meter safety areas devoted to passenger loading and unloading only were implemented in front of Pulkovo-1 and Pulkovo-2 terminals in accordance with requirements of the applicable law. Parking in these areas is prohibited, therefore Northern Capital Gateway LLC provided extra free and paid parking areas in order to improve the traffic situation on the landside. As a result, we have compensated and significantly increased the capacity of parking areas,” – said Eugeniy Ilyin Chief Commercial Officer, Northern Capital Gateway LLC.

In the last year Northern Capital Gateway LLC has provided 1008 new stalls at different parking areas near Pulkovo 1 terminal: 416 free stalls, 448 commercial stalls, 249 stalls at the daily parking area and 199 stalls at the paid staff parking area. Currently, there are free and paid parking areas with the capacity of 1,864 stalls on the landside of Pulkovo-1.
