OREANDA-NEWS. July 19, 2012. The preserving the purity of surface waters, which are the main sources of water supply of settlements in Ukraine, requires a substantial strengthening of control over the quality of wastewater and responsibility for non-compliance.

This was announced by Acting Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services Oleksandr Alipov during a meeting on implementing the national program "Drinking Water of Ukraine", chaired by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov held at the Desnyanska water station of the Kyivvodocanal PJSC.
