OREANDA-NEWS. July 19, 2012. In connection with construction work to upgrade facilities on October Railways between Kalashnikov –Likhoslavl and Tosno – Ushakov, which lie on the route between Moscow and St. Petersburg, the timetable of high-speed Sapsan trains will be slightly altered from 4 September to 25 October 2012, reported the press-centre of RZD. 

Russian Railways has made the changes so as to reduce to a minimum any disruption to services, but nevertheless asks passengers to plan carefully any trips they may make during this period.

More information about the timetable of the high-speed Sapsan trains and other long-distance trains can be obtained by calling the Common Information and Service Centre at Russian Railways on + 7-800-775-00-00. Calls are free from everywhere in Russia.

Slight alterations in the timetable of high-speed Sapsan trains departing on the following dates will be necessary:

No. 151 Saint-Petersburg – Moscow, departing from St. Petersburg on 8, 10, 22 and 30 September and 7 and 14 October at 06:45 as scheduled, arriving in Moscow on 8, 10, 22, 30 September 7 and 14 October at 10:45 am (+10 min.)

No. 153 Saint-Petersburg – Moscow, departing from St. Petersburg on 8, 10, 22, 30 September and 7 and 14 October at 07:00 as scheduled, arriving in Moscow on 8, 10, 22 and 30 September and 7 and 14 October at 11:06 am (+6 minutes). The trains will stop at Chudovo and Tver stations as usual;

No. 165 Saint-Petersburg – Moscow, departing from St. Petersburg on 8, 10, 22 September and 7 and 14 October at 19:45 as scheduled, arriving in Moscow on 8, 10, 22 and 30 September and 7 and 14 October at 23:45 (+10 min);

No. 152 Moscow – St. Petersburg, departing from Moscow on 4, 13 and 17 September and 21, 23 and 25 October at 06:45 as scheduled, arriving in St. Petersburg on 4, 13 and September 17 and 21, 23, 25 October at 10:41 (+6 min.)

No. 154 Moscow – St. Petersburg, departing from Moscow on 17 September at 7:00 as scheduled, arriving in St. Petersburg on 17 September at 11:06 AM (+6 minutes). The trains will stop at Tver and Chudovo stations as usual;

No. 164 Moscow – St. Petersburg, departing from Moscow 4, 13 and 17 September and 20, 22 and 24 October at 19:30 according to schedule, arriving in St. Petersburg on 4, 13 and September 17 and 20, 22 and 24 October at 23:30 (+6 min.). The trains will stop at Tver station as usual;

No. 166 Moscow – St. Petersburg, departing from Moscow on 4, 13 and 17 September and 20, 22 and 24 October at 19:45 according to schedule, arriving in St. Petersburg on 4, 13 and 17 September and 20, 22 and 24 October at 23:41 (+6 mins.).
