OREANDA-NEWS. July 19, 2012. In Moscow the high level meeting regarding construction of power units 3&4 of Tianwan NPS (PRC) and NPP life cycle management technology took place, in which the top managers of the United Company of JSC "NIAEP" - JSC "Atomstroyexport", China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) and Jiangsu Nuclear Power Corporation (JNPC) participated. The meeting was attended from the Chinese side by Wu Xiujiang, Director General of JNPC, from the Russian side by Valery Limarenko, Director of JSC "NIAEP", Managing Organization of JSC "Atomstroyexport". The meeting was also attended by Yu Peigen, Vice-president of CNNC.

During the high level meeting, the life cycle management technology of JSC NIAEP compound engineering facilities was demonstrated to CNNC and JNPC management. According to Valery Limarenko, this technology, developed by JSC NIAEP, allows to visualize in details and effectively to operate the process of NPP construction, and that has been successfully proved-out during construction of power units 3&4 of Rostov NPP, and also to carry out operation of the plant at all stages of its life cycle. During the demonstration, the probability of use of the given technology was pointed out for construction of the NPS units in China. Also one more know-how of JSC NIAEP, the electronic catalogue of the nuclear engineering equipment, was demonstrated to the Chinese customer.

The Russian side reported on the state of release of the working documentation for TNPS units 3&4. The sides stated that the documentation is released according to the schedule. As to the equipment of "first concrete” for the foundation of power units of TNPS second phase, its delivery will be started soon from Russia to China. The situation with manufacture of the long lead equipment was also considered. The Russian side informed the Chinese customer, that the works in the given direction are also in compliance to the schedule on the whole.

On Friday, July 6th, the Chinese delegation will go to Leningrad region where it will visit the “Izhora Works”, the industrial shops where the equipment for TNPS  is being manufactured, and it will visit JSC "SPbAEP” as well.
