OREANDA-NEWS. July 18, 2012. President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Chairman of the Board of Directors of the companies “Calik Holding " Ahmet Chalyk.

During the meeting the Turkmen leader and his guest discussed the priority aspects of the partnership which has given large-scale reform programs and includes the development of the energy industry and larger perspective. During the presentation of the project for improvement of electricity infrastructure in the Turkmen capital which was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister A.Yegeleev the Minister of Energy and M.Artykov khyakim of Ashgabat Sh.Durdylyev the Turkish businessman told about the technical features and plans for implementation of the largest in the history of Turkmen energy projects

Implementation of this ambitious project which for decades guarantees a reliable and uninterrupted supply of electricity to the rapidly developing cit which is designed for 5 years and will be implemented in three phases. All 60 sub-stations planned for construction during the commissioning will be connected in a single system of power. In particular, the draft stipulates that the renovation of existing and construction of new power plants they will be equipped with the latest advanced equipment and technologies from leading manufacturers such as company Schneider Electric, Siemens, General Electric, ABB, etc. which will supply the equipment and carry out commissioning and commissioning as well as to train appropriate staff.

Thoroughly acquainted with the submitted projects the President noted that their implementation should ensure the stability of supply regardless of weather conditions embody the scientific world and the latest advanced development in this area. In this context the President of Turkmenistan gave Ahmet Calik as well as participating in the presentation of relevant officials specific instructions on the introduction of innovative technologies and the most modern equipment.
